No one tells you that,
in order for you
to achieve your dreams
and become the best
version of yourself, you
sometimes have to outgrow
and grow away from the
people you love the most.

Your family. Your friends.

And you living your
dream life will feel like
the happiest, healthiest,
most beautiful, loving life…
and also, on some days, it will feel
so sad and so guilt-filled.

Not because you don’t love them.
Because you do.

Because the ones you love most
aren’t with you, and can’t be with you,
in the way you wish they could…
because your frequency and vibration
aren’t a match anymore
to who you are
and who you’re becoming.

Being in their presence
can literally knock you down.
Crush you.
Pull you back into a version of you
you fought so hard to outgrow.

It’s like climbing a skyscraper
and looking down at the people you love
still on the ground, crying…
because you’re screaming,
“Climb up. Follow me.”

But they can’t.
They’re too scared to leave the ground
they’re standing on, even though
a part of them wants to.

And you have two choices.

You either keep climbing heaven.
Keep becoming.
Keep making yourself better.
And you keep calling down,
“Come. I’m here for you.”

Because you love yourself,
and you love them,
and you want more for them too.

Or you climb down.
You fall back.
You lose the growth you made
towards your dreams…
because you miss them,
because you love them,
because you want to save them…
and because you once lived in that hell too.

So you sit there in the middle for a while.
Trying.
Crying.
Hoping.
Manifesting.
Praying to God.
Convincing yourself you can do both…
become who you’re meant to be
without losing yourself,
without losing them.

And eventually… you realize the only way
to truly help the ones you left behind
is to live your happiest, best life anyway.

To show them.
To model it from afar.
To keep the door open.
To keep the light on.

And maybe one day…
they climb too.
They climb out of hell.
They climb up to their own heaven.
They meet you there.

And if they do…
you’re there with open arms.
Wide open.
Encouraging them.
Embracing them.
Unconditionally loving them.

No one tells you this.

So I’m going to tell you…
as someone who is living her dream life…
and still misses her family
with tears in her eyes.

In order for you
to achieve your dreams
and become the best
version of yourself, you
sometimes have to outgrow
and grow away from the
people you love the most.

The choice is yours…
whether you keep climbing into your heaven,
for you and for them,
or you stay in hell just to be with them.

And whichever choice you make will make you both happy and sad at the same time.
